Sohrab Pakzad

Sohrab Pakzad is an Iranian singer, songwriter, composer, and guitarist, born on April 3rd, 1981, in Tehran. He began studying guitar independently around age 20, later training under Faizollah Madah and voice coach Hooman Javid. His musical breakthrough came in 2005 with his debut single “Zir Barun” (“Under the Rain”), followed by a full album released in 2009 that became one of the best-selling records in Iran that year. The standout track “In Che Hesieh”, co-written with Amir Tabari, elevated his popularity among Persian-speaking audiences and even gained attention internationally.
