Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Michael Siebert, Managing Director of Russia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, OSCE at the European External Action Service, in Erevan on June 4. The two discussed a number of issues of the ”comprehensive and ambitious agenda of the Armenia-EU partnership”, the ministry said.
We fully hope that this new agenda will include all the key components and tools in line with the dynamics and goals of partnership development, as well as the direction of democratic reforms in Armenia.

The continuation of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, as well as the maximization of the opportunities available beyond it, were highlighted.
Among other issues, Ararat Mirzoyan and Michael Siebert referred to the EU monitoring mission in Armenia, steps towards enhancing Armenia’s resilience, and issues of cooperation in the economic sphere. It is noted that issues related to regional security were also discussed.
Mirzoyan presented the latest developments in the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, including discussions around the draft peace treaty. Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of continuing the process of border delimitation based on the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991.
