Animal Jazz | Animal ДжаZ

Animal Jazz (often stylized as Animal ДжаZ) is a Russian alternative rock band formed in 2000 in St. Petersburg. The group is known for:

  • a fusion of hard rock, post‑punk, and electronic elements;
  • dramatic, often provocative stage performances;
  • lyrics blending social critique, existential themes, and dark humour;
  • a theatrical visual aesthetic (costumes, lighting, props).

  • Alexander Skvortsov (Александр Скворцов) — lead vocals, primary songwriter;
  • Dmitry Shcherbin (Дмитрий Щербин) — guitar;
  • Alexey Kiselev (Алексей Киселёв) — bass;
