Darya‑Aglaya Tarasova (born April 18, 1994, St. Petersburg) is a Russian-Israeli actress known for her work in film and television. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at St. Petersburg State University before pursuing an acting career. Her screen debut came in 2010 with a role in the short film Candies. She rose to prominence in 2014 through her part in the popular TV series Interns. Subsequent leading roles in major productions—including Ice (2018), Unprincipled (2020), and Execution (2022)—solidified her status as a notable figure in contemporary Russian cinema. For her performance in Ice, Tarasova was awarded the Golden Eagle Award for Best Actress in 2019.

Tarasova’s career took an unexpected turn in August 2025 when she was detained at Domodedovo Airport in Moscow. According to reports, the arrest was linked to the discovery of narcotic substances, leading to the initiation of a criminal case on charges of drug smuggling. On September 5, 2025, a court imposed a restrictive measure on her, banning certain actions until November 3, 2025. The developments marked a significant disruption to her professional trajectory and drew considerable media attention.

As of January 2026, the legal proceedings against Tarasova remain ongoing. If convicted, she faces a potential sentence of up to 7 years in prison and a fine of 1 million rubles. Throughout this period, Tarasova has not appeared in new film or television projects, and her future in the entertainment industry hinges on the outcome of the case.
