Also, Turkey ratified a free trade agreement with Ukraine. The agreement was signed on February 3, 2022, but President Recep Tayyip Erdogan approved the agreement and annexes only on August 1.
The volume of bilateral trade between Turkey and Ukraine was 7.3 billion dollars in 2023, Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat said on Thursday. The main areas of trade between the two countries are iron and steel, machinery, energy, automobiles and grain.
