Hanoi hosted the 44th Vietnam-China Border Railway Conference, during which representatives from both countries signed a significant agreement to enhance cross-border railway cooperation. This agreement represents a shared commitment to improving the efficiency and integration of railway services between the two nations.

At the conference, Mr. Tran Thien Canh, Director General of Vietnam’s National Railway Administration (VNRA) and head of the Vietnamese delegation, highlighted the importance of addressing operational challenges and upgrading the existing railway agreement. After two days of deliberations, delegates reached consensus on several critical aspects aimed at ensuring smoother international transportation of goods, passengers, and tourists.
