About us
Eurasia Baike website (or “Eurasia 百科”) stands for Eurasia encyclopedia and is an initiative launched in 2022, in Romania, European Union, to:
- inform the public about the convergence, divergence and interference processes taking place in the Eurasian space, between the states in this geographical space
- catalog information about films, books and music albums produced in Eurasian states, especially those in Europe, Russia, China, Turkey and Iran
- generate analytical content for cultural and social studies as well as for understanding the domestic and international political climates
- offer a selection of translations of texts from Eurasian literature, with an emphasis on those from the Slavic, Iranian, Sinic, Turkish and European cultural spaces
- encourage the study of foreign languages (especially Russian, Chinese and Farsi) by providing integrated vocabularies with sections where text translations are found
- promote a deeper understanding of Eurasian cooperation, historically, as a basis for the emergence of modern social, political and cultural contexts
